Projected or actual area?
Projected area is the horizontal footprint. Actual area corrects it for pitch and is the recommended purchasing basis.

What is a roof plane? It is each continuous surface of the roof, flat or sloped. Trace any section with a different pitch separately, then close the polygon.
Your measurement desk is ready
Upload a plan or add a manual surface. You can also trace directly on this grid.
Use this when you already know the width and length of a rectangular roof plane and want to add it without tracing. Choose Horizontal projection for dimensions measured from above; choose Actual surface for dimensions measured directly along the slope.
Select a roof plane on the plan to edit it.
Record ridges, hips, valleys, eaves, rakes, and flashing to calculate linear accessories.
02
Area with waste feeds area materials. Edit coverage using the manufacturer data sheet.
